more complex than a rectangle

 hello blog...

january 29 will mark one year of blog! i talk about how much i love blogging every few posts so y'all don't need to hear me say it again, but yeah. i love blogging. 

update on my lifelong reading adventure, i have now read 45 books this year. goodreads tells me i am "on track" to read 50 this year. 5 more books in the next 3 weeks, what do you think? i need some audience involvement on this one. 

 

i just considered putting a gif in this post because i realized i have the capability to do so, but i decided against it because personally having a gif in my periphery is a real plague to my eyes. 

i WILL take this opportunity however to bless you with some sick cutaway drawings i found recently.

 

if you know anything about me you may know that wimmelbild and cutaway drawings are my longtime obsession. don't really know why, i just think they're super sick and i could look at all the details for hours. send any cool wimmelbilds you find.

 

currently crocheting a scarf for a friend. i wish i knew how to crochet things more complex than a rectangle, but sadly i am too lazy to learn. 

 

i sometimes wonder what prompts me to write each new blog post. i think it comes from some sort of build up of thoughts in my head and once there are enough i make a post. today i have that somewhat creative feeling but honestly nothing much to write about. when i first began my blog i think the idea was to have each post be about a specific topic, but it's turned into more of a diary in the past year. now i basically just write about the little random things i do in my life. 

current mood is watching multiple 50 minute Hivemind youtube videos in a row.
