START A BLOG. DO IT.

 new thing about me: i'm eighteen. it happened to me about a week ago. i woke up one day and i was 18. just like that. crazy how those things happen.

i looked in the mirror that morning and i swear i looked older. not noticeably to someone else. but i could tell. i've always measured my maturity from a retrospective standpoint, but that day i think i felt it in real time. 

ok enough being weird

anyways im at 42 books of my 50 goal for the year, and i'm starting to worry i won't make it. better start reading graphic novels again. i just finished red, white, and royal blue today. maybe you know that book. i really did like it. i don't have anything smart or interesting to say about it. it was a bit too long. 

i started another book that a friend gave to me for my birthday. probably gonna have to read like 3 books at a time to make it to 50. goodreads tells me i'm on track for my goal, but goodreads doesn't know me that well. 

3 current obsessions right now are cinnamon belvita biscuits, my bose headphones, and rainbow high dolls.

i bought a rainbow high doll which arrived today. her name is coco vanderbalt. she arrived with her hair all crunchy and messed up, and i washed her hair and i felt like maybe i should be a cosmetologist. the rainbow high dolls are actually kind of sick. they're similar to bratz dolls but their clothes are way cooler and they look slightly more human. i already want more of them 😶‍🌫️

i never thought i was much of a headphone person but my new headphones are honestly life changing. they have the perfect amount of noise canceling which i can turn on or off, and that's been so useful to me. they've made going to school a lot less overwhelming. and they play music pretty good too.

ok done with the product placement now.

thanksgiving is in a couple of days, i suppose i'm excited. not doing much this year, just gonna be me and the tofurkey. 

i am thankful for making a new friend.
