isle of dogs

 first order of business is new taylor swift album! yes i'm a taylor swift fan. swiftie if you will. (feel free to skip this part if you dont care about taylor swift)

 i did not stay up until midnight to listen to it, but i did listen to all 20 songs this morning. gotta say its not my favorite. folklore and evermore were my favorites for sure, and i see a lot more 1989 and reputation influence in this one. favorite songs off of it were probably maroon, mastermind, and would've, could've, should've. i only listened to the album once through so that is subject to change. i can't really say how much i like an album until i can really remember how the songs sound. i'll keep you updated. or not. 

 

today i also went to barnes&noble, petsmart, and spirit halloween. petsmart had a disappointing lack of pets. i finally bought the mask of lock from the nightmare before christmas that i'd wanted since last halloween season. gonna hang it on my wall. i also bought a black bob wig with bangs for no reason. 

i watched isle of dogs for the first time. officially have watched all wes anderson movies except for rushmore. gonna have to force myself to sit through that one. isle of dogs was very good. refer to my letterboxd for official rating. (3.5/5)

 

this is honestly the most diary-entry kind of post i've ever written. should be a nice little time capsule of a day for me in the future.

 

voice lessons are really hard. its hard to want to sing when my voice doesn't sound good to me. i still like it though. i like warming up and singing familiar songs. gotta get out of my comfort zone once in a while though.
