bittersweet

been feeling so grateful lately that I am a dancer. I am so glad to have something that I am devoted to and completely love. I've been dancing for I think seven years. my first competition of the season was last weekend :)

writing now on my new computer! i got a cyberpower pc and its great idc what you think about it. i can play the sims with maximum graphics and its wonderful.

i haven't written a post in weeks i have been so uninspired. for a little bit it felt like school was the center of my life again but now dance is the center of my life i think. now when i'm doing other things i'm just thinking about going to dance.

ok time to talk about this excellent show i just watched. its called The Haunting of Bly Manor you may have heard of it. *SPOILERS AHEAD* *LIKE SERIOUSLY STOP READING*

it's a horror limited series and i was expecting something like It, where its only purpose is to be scary and there isn't much expansion on the characters or anything. But it was so much better, the horror was so subtle, in the first half of the show its hardly even "scary" its just spooky kind of and you have to pay attention to catch all the things going on in the background. that was honestly my favorite part. i had to watch the whole screen and not just the characters to try and catch a plague doctor lurking in the background or a doll tilting it's head.

i do get scared easily so i don't often watch horror movies or shows. this show was pretty frightening in a way where there was a lot to process after watching it. but i really appreciated that the ending was bittersweet and a little hopeful. maybe now i have to watch the haunting of hill house.

*DONE TALKING ABOUT BLY MANOR*

i have also been trying to read a lot more lately, my goal is to read 50 books this year. so far i've read 15. not reading quite as much as i was in january but still more than i had in the past years.

see u next time 😎
